What's the best way of getting to Wycombe other than driving? 2 hours+ on the train is mental.

I believe there is a bus from Rerading to Wycombe, but it takes an age to get there.

Despite Reading and Wycombe being fairly close, public transport links are poor. Driving is the best option.

Train to Marlow and cab from there was always the best way when I went to the odd Wasps games there.

I am pretty sure I caught the 800 bus the last time I went from Marlow to Wycombe. It cost a couple of quid and took about 15 minutes.

I wish I was going to this one now, but the Orient and Charlton games killed my enthusiasm for away games. I’ll listen to it on BBCRB.

Pretty sure the bus is more like 45 mins - cab is 15 from The Marlow Donkey - so half hour extra for a pint and less risk of needing a pee halfway there.

Its 90 minutes, goes via Henley and Marlow.

Even the train to Marlow isn't that quick. Requires 2 trains and a taxi.

There is no quick way by public transport but by train Reading to Oxford and Oxford to High Wycombe takes about an hour and a half.

Charlie Savage and Tom Holmes at the SCL last evening supporting the U 18’s. Might have been others i didn’t see but i assume this means no overnight stay and travel this morning.

Assume they're not going by public transport then.
