Norfolk Royal It’s difficult to see how much more humiliating it can get to be a Reading fan.

I think I maxed out the negative emotion towards them around Kidderminster last year. Now stuff like this just doesn't make me feel anything.

First time I've seen Mola play - he really isn't very good is he?

I don’t think selles should be our manager anymore

If we’d won that - £67,000.
Then Newport or Barnet, which theoretically this band of losers should win - another £105,000.
Could have guaranteed wages for a while with a possible £172k.

Fans doing their bit for this club, but we have the most passionless, apathetic group of players going who don’t
seem to see the gravity of the situation they’re in.
Embarrassing.

How many 90+ winners have we conceded this season? We must be close to beating our existing record and it's only 3 December.

Agreed. And once again. Your Derby's, Wigans, and now your Evertons get points deductions and the players and management rally and fight their hardest. Not Reading, no we get a deduction and our players and managers feel sorry for themselves and crumble.

Uke
St Pauli Yeah the decision to not play the first team I’ve now decided is a f/cking stupid one.

Preserving your precious players like wing is a luxury for clubs who can pay their staff their agreed contractual wage before Xmas.

F/ck off selles

Maybe Wing with his uninjured precious shins and limbs can pay the ticket office staff their wages

The players and Selles have agreed to delay their salaries to ensure staff are paid first

As documented in the optimistic part of this thread earlier

So have non playing staff in their entirety been paid their wages in full for November or not?

Obviously excepting Bowen and Selles.

Because they shouldn’t be being paid at all imo.

It's the managers we appoint, which also comes back to Dai. Still convinced we'd have brought in a suitable appointment last summer without the off field situation.

Moment that ball went out for the corner I was straight on B365. Unfortunately I was too late as they'd already suspended betting, but hit was only going one way. Left-sided corners in injury time against us are 100% guaranteed goals at this point. You'd think they'd try and do something about it, but every single time it's the same. Credit to Craig for putting it out for the corner and giving Holmes/Dean a b*llocking for him having to be there in the first place.
That game was crying out for Vickers. If we'd pressed them and run at them with the ball they would have crumbled, but Selles once again went with a terrible team selection.
Mola/Mukairu is an abysmal partnership.
Savage once again offered nothing. The ManU academy tag really doesn't help if you're consistently awful.
WiFI well off the pace and looked a bit disinterested.
Cheeseburger is mad.
I'm still in a mental place where this won't be the worst day to be a Reading fan, because we keep discovering new lows. But it still hurts.

According to ITV the club sponsor made up the difference, so hat tip to SCL

Bowen and Selles openly critical of owners on TV

Also open support from ITV commentators

Players’ payment delay probably kicks in next month

New ownership will obviously help, but this is just a culmination of a deep malaise that has been over the club for years. The idea that a new takeover and manager will immediately fix all our issues is fanciful.

If the new owners have sense, they should communicate the need for patience when they arrive instead of promising to "get the club before where it belongs".

Humiliated on national TV thanks Reading. The lack of quality apart from the keeper who should have done better with the winner. I just hope the players are as embarrassed as I am feeling now.

Yeah I watched the same pre game build up.

Criticism of the owner at this point is cheap, given that the club is about to be sold and the current owners dngaf.

Have Selles and Bowen dipped into their substantial back pockets (over and above this month’s pay cheque) to see non playing staff right?

I think we both know the answer to that.

We'll see about that one. Not too confident given the Bowen interview before the game.
