Christ alive, as Ian has been saying for months, Mbengue is a truly awful defender.

The quality of delivery in the 1st half particularly was worse than you’d see in a Sunday League Reserves game. Time after time aiming for people about 20 ft tall.

Ebhi was useless. Elliott was useless. Savage was useless. Not sure Knibbs was actually on the pitch.

Mola was ok, in fact he was pretty decent in CD.

Smith at least looked dangerous.

Oh well,

According to ITV the club sponsor made up the difference, so hat tip to SCL

Bowen and Selles openly critical of owners on TV

Also open support from ITV commentators

Players’ payment delay probably kicks in next month

Yeah I watched the same pre game build up.

Criticism of the owner at this point is cheap, given that the club is about to be sold and the current owners dngaf.

Have Selles and Bowen dipped into their substantial back pockets (over and above this month’s pay cheque) to see non playing staff right?

I think we both know the answer to that.

We'll see about that one. Not too confident given the Bowen interview before the game.

Either way Bowen has nothing to lose.

Criticises Dai when Dai doesn’t pay any attention, won’t know, and is probably out anyway. He looks good on TV and to the fans.

Very very unlikely WCS is Dai sacks him in with a very healthy settlement and he doesn’t have to worry about RFC anymore.

You're all being harsh. Hand on heart I didn't see us put a foot wrong all game.

But I also didn't watch the game, which might have something to do with it.

Jackson Corner Humiliated on national TV thanks Reading. The lack of quality apart from the keeper who should have done better with the winner. I just hope the players are as embarrassed as I am feeling now.

Pereira tried to move forward to smother ball at forward's feet but the shot was slipped between his legs. The villain in that goal, IMO, was Tom Holmes who was knocked over far too easily.

In his post match interview Richard Hill sounded very grateful to Selles for his selection and tactics!

Not sure two teams who haven’t played a competitive fixture on over 30 years can be considered a rivalry. Although Dai Yonnge is doing a very good job at trying to revive the fixture.

Is anybody actually surprised ? Our club is is on it's knees, in intensive care, there's no point battering the players or manager, they are trying their best in the most impossibly hard circumstances, but sadly the best is woefully short, we just need to hang on in there till we get a new owner.

I'm surprised we didn't beat Eastleigh, yes. It was an ideal opportunity to keep our "decent" run of results going. I also thought that despite the managers shortcomings the personal pride of the players would see us through.

The club is rotten to the core.

spot-on

We are where we are, because we are what we are currently.
Yeah, bring in Colin or Co. to sort us out, it won’t make a sh1t of difference.

Saw a few positives today, really not worth the angst of the loss.

Sorry pal, there are no positives when you lose to a National League club. It was gutless, spinless, pointless and other words ending with "less".

Zero positives. Changing ownership won’t make Selles not a massively shit manager.

In some ways the worst part was that, especially in the second half, the players were trying hard, but they were still rubbish against a non-league team.

Just so many individual unforced mistakes.
