I wonder if Selles might try Mola at RB for this one. Based on the Charlton game he looks a much better RB than LB.

blythspartan I am looking forward to this one and I think we’ll win. I have had times of dreading going, but nowhere near as bad as last season.

I am worried about the club folding so am just trying to enjoy every game atm. The reality is if a Phoenix club had to be formed, I might not be around long enough to see it get back into the EFL.

Unless you're already 70, I don't think it will take a hypothetical phoenix Reading FC that long to return to the EFL.

It depends.
Stay at the Madejski, not so bad.
Start again at Palmer Park or Scours Lane, and 15-20 years is more likely.

The Mad stad probably wouldn’t be going anywhere.

No, but it would depend who owned it, and if they'd do a reasonable deal for rental.

Mbengue is thought likely to be available for this one.

As someone thoughtfully posted on Twitter, we are now 10 games unbeaten against Barnsley.

Away win.

I don't know if I like Mbengue and Azeez on the right. They were atrocious at Eastleigh, and seemed to encourage each other's worst impulses.

Mbengue is not a reliable fullback.

Yiadom has to start when fit. He has flaws, but he is an actual experienced RB.

If we want to play Mbengue we should drop Bindon.

Yiadom should definitely be the starting RB.

Mbengue may be someone we'd want to try at DM again (was it Arsenal U21s in the EFL Trophy game he played there?), especially now we're playing three in midfield regularly.

I don't really understand why we'd do that just as Craig is breaking through. You're not going to drop Wing or put him in behind your striker, so you'd have to drop Craig.

We have Hutch as backup.

Hound Need to win our home games. A draw wouldn’t be a disaster but really should be going full out for 3 points

Starting to think there is the basis of a proper first 11 now. It’s interesting the last two games when we’ve brought Wing/Smith/Knibbs/Azeez in we’ve looked an awful lot better

FBs still a major concern. Not sure if Holmes managed to play his way out of the side on Saturday, but Abbey must play

Think we’ll go

Button
Yiadom Abbey Binden Mola/Carson
Craig
Azeez Wing Knibbs Mukairo
Smith

Perreira Holmes Carson Savage Elliot/Vickers Ehibhatiomhan Mbengue

Haven’t thought a lot of Mukairo last two games tbh so would love to see Vickers there instead

So leaving out Dean, NGW, Hutch, Rushesha. TMc and Dorsett injured

Oh almost nailed it :)

Just Eliott instead of Carson

Are Carson and Guinness-Walker both injured. If not surely one of them should be on the bench.

So the ref is going to blow up for anything vaguely physical then.

That's a cracking worked goal off an absolutely stonking Yiadom run.
