So why did Selles blank Holmes for so long? Did we ever find out?

Just not getting hold of anything and we're second to everything.

Uke So why did Selles blank Holmes for so long? Did we ever find out?

He had a bad game vs Vale and was mates with Carroll who got drummed out for going on the piss and having an affair plus missing a penalty.

Is about as much as anyone knows.

Holmes is absolutely colossal. Without him we'd be about 2 down at this point. Winning everything.

Wonder if we'll try to crowd and bully Southwood at corners. Was a weakness for us.

Millsy We're getting ripped apart at the moment, but if we can ride the storm I can see them tiring out and we'll start playing.

Very much this. A bit like a war of attrition on stamina. Some parts of a game are just about sapping up the energy and morale of the opposition and then hitting back hard once they're tired and demoralised.

If Button could get his kicks within 10 yards of a Reading player it would help.

Mbengue needs to learn how to take a throw on.

One foot was a mile on the pitch.

The long balls will come good but a little bit more of a mix with some shorter passing might help here.

Surprised Cheltenham to win is still 9/5. We are being battered.
