Stranded Any chance of this game being called off? Seen a couple of postponements already announced today.

They've got undersoil heating at Wigan haven't they? Would have thought it would have had to have been installed with them being a Premier League side.

Often it's less about the pitch itself, but about access to the stadium. The weather forecast doesn't suggest that will be an issue tomorrow though.

The money received for Holmes has paid for Reading to travel up yesterday and stay in a hotel overnight. The club are, though, still waiting for the FL to ratify his loan return to the club so will not be involved.

Holmes in for Abbey is the only change in the first XI.

Line up much as you'd expect.

Abbey is off then. We'll miss his pace bailing us out.

I'm slightly concerned now that Holmes' transfer fee was only enough for 10 double rooms at Wigan Travel Lodge.

You say that, but this were rooms with breakfast included.

Ah, a croissant and a single serving pack of Rice Krispies left outside the door in a brown paper bag.

Gave them too much space there.

Bit ragged, queuing up at the back again there, but Holmes wins it.

We started brightly, but we've faded out and just can't keep the ball again.

At this level, always unlucky to concede a goal of that quality.

Final pass or touch has been very bad.

Better than the one Azeez scored against them last month?

Knibbs should score. Bit surprised it came to him, but should do better really.

Yet another team asked to play a possession game plan at the back way above their skill level. Shame it seems beyond Reading to capitalise on their inability.

I thought we were playing well under Wigan scored. Twitter disagrees. Still think we'll get something out of this.
