You don't get decisions in any game at any level unless you get in the ear of the refs. We have to get a lot better at influencing them. Otherwise, teams like Portsmouth get all the decisions.

If their player has "clotheslined" one of ours, then we should have been around their player acting like he's just attempted murder. Refs are weak. They only look for the reaction.

HT 1-0 to the hosts. First 25 minutes were brilliant and some of the best I've seen us play all season. We should have been at least one up, and they should have been playing with 10 men, before Lane's effort reminded us that Button really isn't a very good keeper.
Mukairu having a typical stinker, Kelvin's heavy first touch and poor 1v1 finishing still an issue.
Craig and Bindon are far too good for this league.
Portsmouth average. If we took our chances we'd be trouncing them.

Same old Reading. I wish we were more difficult to play against

Mukairu is a real enigma.

Some of his dribbling is superb. He beats players effortlessly in the middle of the pitch. Very pacey.

But then some of his passing is atrocious. His finishing isn't great and he seems to pick the wrong option a lot.

We've come close a lot, but no OGand no wonder goal. Yet.

Theirs all came from Craig being uncharacteristically weak in the challenge and then we never recovered our marking from when Camara broke past him.

This is the freebie, it's the next 4 games that are vital to get points in.

Jogging into frame after Pack? Mukairu.
Clearly the last straw for Selles, off for Smith.

IME Portsmouth is a shithole full of racist c/nts.

When your main thing as a city is a shitty harbour with a tourist attraction that celebrates something the country achieved over another country over 200 years ago this is inevitable I guess.

Even then they can’t keep one of their best pubs, The Lady Hamilton, open.

That's shit from Button. So easily beaten.

Ehibhatiomhan too keen to take the FK and Smith/Knibbs not anticipating.

Totally undeserved lead for Pompey.

Officials have been blatant homers.

Only difference is that they have more threat up front, and we have a keeper who does nothing other than the very minimum. This could turn grim.

4 shots on target, 3 goals. If CBC really is the future, can we start playing him? Impossible he's worse than Button on today's showing.

The frustrating thing is we were by far the better team first half and Pompey couldn’t have complained if we went in at HT 2-0 up against 10 men.
