Still effectively 7pts off the drop due to goal difference so not much damage done.

WestYorksRoyal Barnsley 2-1 up at Burton. Good turnaround.

What does this have to do with Bolton v Reading? You're not a vidiprinter.

Have you considered not being a dick sometimes?

It's not relevant to the game. Don't stand up for these dweebs, Ian. It's beneath you.

Hmmm that’s offside but it doesn’t matter much.

Bolton handily a better outfit right now. Their commentary has been fair and as complimentary as they can towards us.

All four teams in the drop zone lost so it’s another game closer to survival and a chance to regroup/reset as a club.

We really need to have a think about how we approach away games. Obviously, there have been some mitigating circumstances with the hotel situation, etc, but we haven't been good enough in away games for a long time.

Uke Bring back Button?

Pereira didn't have a great day, but I don’t think he really made many costly errors for conceding 5. They just played through us and overloaded us with pace and skill.

The better team won, and got the rub of the green. We made a few too many costly mistakes, but were just outplayed.

Fair play to Bolton, they were exceptional going forward. I can see how they lose a few if they have an off day because they commit so hard and fast forward and are a bit iffy at the back. But must be great to watch.

Not a great result but everyone from 20th down lost.

Looking at the remaining fixtures:

Cheltenham. 7 games in 3 weeks, last 3 against teams chasing the play offs and they are also away to Burton.

Port Vale - still to play away to Peterborough and Bolton. Have Cambridge on the final day

Burton- next 2 games against teams chasing the playoffs then have Cheltenham, Us and Fleetwood.

Shame about the penalty just before half time particularly as Mbengue was having a great game , and is still a great player for us . They were a much better side so it's the proverbial we move on, barring more points deductions we're safe anyhow

Happy to come out of the day not really any worse of than we were, obvs had the hardest fixture there

Defending on the goals was pretty atrocious but let’s forget this one and pick up the win next time out

Yes, those other results have saved our day.

We got 3 points from a tricky home game against a solid mid table team and lost away at a very good team. You'd expect those 2 results to inch us closer to safety and so it has proven. It's not luck.

Lincoln's last 12 games is W10, D2  Doesn't get any easier. Presume they must be playing a lot better than when we faced them in December - they were shocking that day.

No real complaints about that. Bolton were the much better team and scored their first 3 goals at the perfect time. So often timing of games is crucial. They’re chasing Derby for automatic promotion and were well up for the game today. Plus, I think it was their biggest crowd of the season. Move onto Lincoln at home.
