Franchise FC
yuomi Pereira's ragged distribution is the worst thing about his game, but that was just painful to watch. If he's ever going to have a chance, surely it's CBC's turn next season?

The goal wasn’t even ragged distribution

Did he not see the guy in orange ?

That's been coming for a while, he's been playing finer and finer margins.

However. Made no difference to the result (although cost us 16th) but alongside his other recent error, hopefully just a lesson reinforced leading to better performance.

Pulled off a crucial 1 on 1 save earlier, so he can have that one.

Oh, pretty sure in the build up to our second or third, Mbengue got some afters from their 9 on the ground and punched him in the head.

Excellent to the season. Great atmosphere, so much potential. LOL @ blackpool being playoff contenders and not us, but that's the season we've had sadly.

Surely exciting for us next season with new owners who can hopefully see the potential of this club. We def belong in the champ and hopefully it's just a matter of time.

Pereira has come a long way, makes some great saves and really we shouldn't be too hard on him for that mistake, but truth is there's been a mistake in him since day one and as has been the case for several years we absolutely need a solid decent keeper.

Can't believe he wasn't subbed he was obviously injured didn't kick the ball second half

'zactly. He was having to throw it out towards the end, and get Binden to take goal kicks.

Was stu[id of Dorsett to ping it back to him at such pace

There was almost a synchronised 'he hit me' dive from the pair, only to realise the ref was facing away and play carrying on.

Snowflake Royal Well that was fun.

My arse was C1871 sold out though. 50 - 100 seats looked available. Grrr could have been in there rather than snoozeville Y23.

Club 1871 has unreserved seating, so 10% of seats have to be left empty (IIRC) as per the Green Guide.

Good game. Awful start with very lacklustre defending. But we were the better team and could have scored 4/5 in the end.

Kelvin did some decent defensive work and looked a threat but his final ball was poor and the ball bounced off him too much. Characterised by his two abysmal crosses before coming off.

I wish someone would teach, particularly our backline, how to time a jump. They're always well into the downward arc as it often sails over their heads.

But very determined performance. Very slick and Knibbs was everywhere.

Elliott had some really good stuff but at times was too easily pushed off the ball.

They clearly targeted RB, with constant overloads that caused issues. But our pace and skill always looked a threat. I'd like us to play shorter through the middle more though, went long unnecessarily a few times.

Dorsett struggled a bit but grew into the game.

Camara essentially set up two goals, but I was willing him to shoot both times when he seemed to have no confidence to do that. But it worked!

Overall very good, nothing to say about the miss of 16th

And it speaks volumes that Holmes and Selles haven't always had a good relationship, yet Reuben made the completely unnecessary effort to give him a bow. Class. And so many of the squad were really driving Holmes to get recognition from the fans. Especially Knibbs who is new to the club. Absolutely phenomenal team spirit.

And Mbengue. What a maniac. Hard not to have a song in your heart with this guy around. Fast becoming a legend.

Voted Bindon PotS, but well done to Wing, last few games he really cemented his value.

I believe they are not allowed to sell every seat in that section- a % must be not available.

Frustrating.

Don't they have that covered by netting off the first two rows?

Indeed. If we’re having higher attendances next season, the unreserved seating arrangements will have to be reviewed.

No way. Can't see us averaging above 16500. And that would be plus 4k.

The whole idea behind C1871 starts to fall apart if you make seating reserved.

I’m thinking a review at the end of next season. I’m not thinking entirely reserved seating either, but there may be certain matches where reserved seating may have to be considered to get more people in the ground - a play-off semi perhaps. You do only lose around 250 seats through unreserved seating though.

We also need to look at ways to spread the atmosphere more readily to the East Stand. As I feel the noise typically stops as soon as you get out of Club 1871.

It always has. Whether we're talking C1871, Y25/26, or even Town end of South Bank.

Great end of season game. 1871 was buzzing, but with the flag, it was the best since the bitter sweet one where we said goodbye to an OKish keeper, EM.

Well, a combination of (mostly) ongoing health issues and (partly) apathy this was my first game of the season.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game, pleasantly surprised by the overall skill level on show.

Had a bit of a problem to start with as did not recognise many of the players and had to check the team sheet a few times.

Not going to go all BFTG but a few observations.

Was impressed with the number 2 who looked neat and good going forward and was surprised to see this was Mola who is clearly not rated by some on here. Obvs caught him on a good day.

Liked what I saw of Elliott, involved in a lot of the good stuff.

Wing was quietly effective, so as POTS I assume he was not not up to his usual standard today.

Enjoyed Knibbs' performance, got about the pitch very well.

Smith is the sort of front player I like, good hold up play and a good centre forward goal.

Hopefully I will get to see a bit more of this team grow next season.
