Lawro's gone home win!

by TFF » 07 Sep 2006 17:12

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 323176.stm

Prediction: 2-1

City had a great result against Arsenal, but Reading manager Steve Coppell is showing he's a shrewd boss.

The Royals also look like they are more than capable of scoring a few at the Madejski Stadium, and with City struggling on their travels I'm going for a home win.

Looking at the current Actim Index, Reading have 5 players listed, Man City have 4.

http://www.pa-sport.com/en/products/actim_premier_league.html

Reading's are placed at 37,52,70,72 and 86.
Man City's are at 55,90,91,93.

No surprise then that Reading are favourites for Monday.[/url]

No. The surprise is that Lawrenson thinks we are.

Perhaps the way we came back against Boro at home impressed him.

The same pundit that said we'd go down because of our lack of firepower.

The utter dispointment of opening this thread... I was under the impression Mark Lawrenson had quit MOTD, making it a home win for all it's viewers...

Now you tell me. He helped me pick out carpets and curtains for my lounge, talk about colour clash! I think Lineacre would have gone for more subtle shades.

Football pundits who needs them.

Ps I predict 3-1 to the roayls and a nice laura Ashley print in the bathroom.

I don't fancy your chances with that in the prem. If it didn't come up last season, Idoubt you've got much hope this season.

Lawro's predictions started badly but have been getting better during the weekend.

Saturday lunchtime game: Wrong
Saturday afternoon games: 2 Right and 4 Wrong
Saturday late game: Right
Sunday game: Right

Monday game: No problem
