OK - we've done the worst (and as I'm a relative newcomer here, you've probably done this, too) ... but who are the players that are never mentioned as greats at the club?

One from the 60s:

Brian Faulkes ... (pictured here at Northampton). I always remember him wearing the front of his shirt (only ever the front) outside his shorts. Fine full back!

Are you having a laugh? He was shocking.

Martin Butler - we collapsed after he and Curo left before Kitson and Doyle came in.

Actualy I agree he wasn't bad and I missed him when he went.

Those two goals against Preston were worth every penny we ever paid him.

Underrated therefoe not necessarily because he was amazing, but because some like you think he was sh*te when actually he wasn't bad.

Martin Williams was a decent player whose work rate used to let him down a bit sometimes.

He was great at getting penaltys as well which Caskey used to bang in quite regularly back in those dark Burns days.

Martin Williams was a good player. In the last season at Elm Park he and Asaba looked a decent partnership at home... less effective away.

I thought Steve Francis was quality... but so did most other fans. I think he could have played at a higher standard.

I also think that Shaka was probably the best 'English' goalkeeper in the country in 1994/5.

When we won promotion, i read countless articles about Sonko not having a chance against players such as henry....he has proved all his critics wrong and had Wayne Rooney in his pocket for the whole 90 minutes...he's doing us proud..

LOL

He was bleedin' awful. Hence why he left here and after brief spells trialling at other clubs, he vanished into the rejects bin.

Very good shout he was a great defender but the other defenders he played with always seemed to get more praise than he did.

Seconded. Spoke to a Wolves fan recently who wondered how Seol was doing so well. He also mentioned Ingimarsson as being at Wolves - had forgotten that.

Gary Westwood. Great shot-stopper in a very successful team (albeit long-ball team).
