BBC South Sports Personality of the year.

I'm not normally one for semi-coordinated campaigns but it'd be nice if someone to do with RFC - let's say Murts - won this.

My nomination for Murty is in. Steve Coppell has won a lot recently, it'd be nice to share the wealth. No doubt Murts will share it with the club anyway.

If it really is to be judged on personality, then you'd have to go a long way to beat Kingsley!

If it is really based on achievement (and apart from Daly Thompson how many of the winners of the main BBC Sports Personality of the Year have had a personality?!) then it should go to Sir Steve Coppell.

Come to think of it, Sir Steve has a different but very interesting type of personality with his very dry wit!

In the main catagories, who is likely to win "Best Team"? And COULD record breaking Reading be in with a chance? None of our international teams in the main sports we take part in have done anything worthy, but what about the smaller less glam sports?

If it was boss of the year, it would be him. However, as others have said, it should go to a competitor, and who better than the captain?

Yeah but Southampton were the best team in the league last year so they will win the team catagory and Nigel (football god) Quashie will win the individual prize

Murts or Madejski. i know he doesnt 'take part' as such, but the club wouldnt be where they are now without his funding.

OR we could just hijack the main award from the BBC. Steve Coppell for that one and make Murts the South one.
