Terribly opening. Defensivly not sound at all. And not managing to get out wide men going. A nice move by Little/Long there, but not resulting in anything.

Sidwell missed with basically an open net from 4 yards out.

We have started to press a bit the latest minute, so there is of course still plenty of hope.

2026: Barely believable at the Madejski, as Steve Sidwell puts forward his contender for 'Miss of the Season'. Chris Kirkland drops a cross at the midfielder's feet three yards out and Sidwell can only, somehow, screw his shot wide with the goal at his mercy. A remarkable achievement and destined to be used on A Question of Sport one day.

2025: Leroy Lita misses a sitter for Reading. A deep, looping cross from Glen Little presents the young striker with a glorious chance to equalise, but he fluffs his lines and nods wide from five yards.

Kirkland is having a shocker, let's hope we can take advantage.
