RoyalChicagoFC It's past time for replay.
All goals and offside decisions should be subject to immediate review

Wycombe Royal So should this be a premiership only thing, because most clubs in the lower leagues certainly couldn't afford it?

alad Someone needs to crawl out of Hunts backside, anyone would have got to that ball and put it back to Lita. He was very poor going forward today and his football brain is non existant. A runner, not a player.

Even if they could, it would hardly extend all the way down the ladder - it has to stop somewhere. Do what they do in rugby - every team that can afford it does it.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but goal line technology wouldn't be that expensive to install/maintain, surely? Compared with weekly salaries etc...

I don't see how you can consistently argue the football must remain "the same game" at every level and also argue for four linos. Propsect Park games are never, ever going to have four linos.LimpBiscuit If football is to remain the same game, whether played at Prospect Park or The Madejski Stadium, we cannot accept video refs or replay decisions.
If you have a goal line camera at a premier league ground, there must be the same technology available at the grass roots level of the game.
Clearly, this is not an option and if top flight football were to have different laws, which this would clearly mean, football would no longer be the same game played across the world at every level.
Imagine the outrage of frustrated dads when their little ray of sunshine has his goal disallowed, or the father of a 10 year old raging that you can't allow that offside as there isn't a camera around to prove it was.
All we can do is trust the judgment of the only person on the pitch that does not attempt to deceive or cheat during a game.....the referee.
I have argued for years that 2 more linesmen running the goal lines would be far more practical. They could decide on goal line decisions, but, more importantly, they would be in the perfect position to see the diving/shirt pulling/handling that the referee misses due to his position nearly always meaning that he is behind the play.
It appears that Michel Platini is an advocate of this. It's a solution that can be applied throughout football, at every level. Not just for the benefit of messrs Allardyce, Mourinho and oxf*rd.
Arch Propsect Park games are never, ever going to have four linos.

higher Huntys mix of exhuberance ,tenacity, instinct, graft, dedication, cheek and honesty must be a managers dream.Certainly glad he`s on our side.
Like all our players he`s still on a learning curve at this level.
Amazing the way from a cameo role bit part player Hunty IMHO has grasped his opportunity it will take some prizing the shirt from him.

Agree he has taken his chance and done well and he is part of a winning side and you can't take him out at the moment but some people need a reality check. He was OK today but the way the thread starter talks about him it was as if he was bossing the game and running the whole show.
Little had a much better game than Hunt today. The fact he chased someone is talked of as if he is the only player that works hard. Little chased a ball he had no right to get in the second half, won it from Beasley and we almost scored as a result of it. A nice pass to Lita is talked up as if Hunt was the only player capable of it, the best pass today was Sidwells by a long shot and it hardly got a mention. It seems theres people out there who single Hunt out and praise him regardless of how he's performed. Theres people that have said Hunt was man of the match in the last two games when Lita has won both games with 2 unbelievable performances.
