Is there any other Irish players in our squad that we can get in a mood over not being picked?

Shows how far Ireland have fallen in the rankings that a player such as Shane Long can get into the squad.

3 Reading players in one international squad  never ever thought I'd see that happen.

You could say the same about Nugent for England.

International football is rubbish.

Plus Nicky Colgan,Stephen Kelly,Kevin Kilbane and Stephen Hunt.
Their golden era has well and truly disappeared.

Still no place for Derek Geary either. 20-odd Premiership appearances this season but Stephen "disaster waiting to happen" Kelly preferred. Such a weak squad. Anthony Stokes - potentially a decent striker but with a single goal for Sunderland to his name since January and in an international squad. And the replacement keepers and Jonathon Douglas and Darren Gibson and Darren O´Dea? Christ. Zinadine Kilbane looks classy in this group.

Very good young centre-back at Celtic. Only 21 I think. Did a very good job against AC Milan over two legs and I wouldn't be surprissed to see him move south of the border.
