*SUPER STEVE SIDWELL APPRECIATION THREAD*

by Sharpy » 11 May 2007 20:16

i think this should be the last thread on the topic, its clear he is moving on and like anyone else leaving a job to go elsewhere he has just as much right as anyone else and no-one should judge him for it!!

personal tributes and messages of thanks on here!!

- steve thanks for everything you've done for RFC, always played 110% in games even this season when his future was undecided. hope you continue to progress at a 'bigger' club but look back at your time with RFC with very fond memories....gosh feel abit emotional lol.
if i see you out in Reading before you go wherever it maybe il buy you a pint.

much love Sharpy

I hope Sid does regret his decision as it will mean we are continuing to be right up there .Could have gone on to captain the super royals as we conquer the world.
Hope he doesnt waste too many good years getting splinters whilst counting the cash. Anyway thanks for playing your part Sid. Good luck and health in whatever you do unless its against us.
Hunty hook sliding the ball away from Sid next year will get a good cheer.

Good thread.

I would like to thanks Mr Sidwell for his outstanding contributition to the rise of ReadingFC, for the money we paid to sign him & his value on the pitch makes him an outstanding player in Readings recent history.

In an ideal world we would like him to sign again but in modern football it is not going to happen, i wish him well in the future. I certainly wont boo him when he returns like some twats booed darius henderson recently.

I have no doubt sir Steve will sign someone just as good.

I appreciate all he's done for Reading Football Club. He's still a money grabbing little runt though. I'd probably do the same!

Thank you for all you've done. It's been one hell of a journey!

Steve Sidwell - a small poem for a big player.

It's hard to imagine future success at RFC without you
for you have been an integral part of it in recent years.
You will be missed but we wish you well, undoubtedly with tears.
We will follow your progress and hope you remember us
from time to time with the fondest of memories.

You were a massive part of our Royal history
but don't look back for it will only bring misery.
Spare us a place in your heart
and in fondness we part.

Your number 13
The Fans.
