by The_Cat » 15 Jun 2007 18:02

Does anyone know the date when Sky/Setanta announce all the fixtures that will be televised for the first half of the season?

I'm guessing the first game of the season will be one of them.

Either 5:15 Saturday or 4:00 Sunday in both instances purlease.

EDIT: ::clang!:: duh, it occurs to me after the fact that the second game is on the Tuesday, so never mind.

I'd put mine on 12.15, the champions usually kick off the season, except last year

I have bought my (and concessionary daughters) ST's in good faith.

I have seen the fixture list, and have made the necessary arrangements (so as I can watch all the home games that I have PAID FOR ) in good faith)

Now I bare my buttocks and await the raping from Sky (and Setanta ????)

as I posted on another thread, setanta announce their SPL fixtures on June 24th

I expect the EPL fixtures will be announced at he same time. They'll decide their EPL fixttures and then fit their SPL fixtures around the vacant slots

Sadly we don't buy them 'in good faith', we buy them according to the T&C's which no doubt explain that they are subject to change !
Very bad for youngsters when games shift to days / times when they can;t attend (and very bad for those of us who paid for their tickets and see a seat wasted).

I expect the Man Utd game to be moved for TV - I also think that may mean the Chelsea game is moved as well if the Man Utd game is Sunday rather than Saturday.

I'll start planning after the TV games are announce - foolish to make FIRM other plans until such time.

pity about the FIRM cash deducted from my bank account.....meantime

Seriously.....I knew the deal when I bought into it

finding buyers for the games that I will miss, won't be a problem.

Missing the games will

Watch it on Sky.
You see the game, and Rupert gets richer and more global control - winners all round!
