In fact any player who we acquired up to the mid 80's who turned out to be more than half decent had to be seen as a bargain, because we never paid any kind of fee for any player.

I'd say Leroy has the potential to become a huge bargain - currently we'd be looking at 5 or 6 million profit if we sold him.

Hurlock? Curle? Moran was signed for an astonshing £250K in Nov 87.
