I said at the start of the season that the one game i would like to win most would be at Pompey. Unfortunately, i don't think it will be this season that it happens. They are unbeaten at home since losing 2-0 against Chelsea back on the 3rd of March. Since then they have beaten and drawn against Man U and Liverpool as well as holding Arsenal which goes to show getting anything at Fratton Park this season will be a bonus.

Like the Wigan game, my attitude will be just about the result and not the performance but i expect us to go down 2-0.

A draw would be a cracking result given our respective form, but I can see us losing this convincingly. They might not bang many in, but I reckon they'll batter us 1 or 2-0.

Maybe form won't come into it. The season we beat Pompey at Fratton Park, we were the worst team in the league by a long way. The previous league game we were beaten 6-0 at Tranmere.

I think we'll win 2-0 with goals from Andy Ringer and Alan Trialist.
