Vision
Archie's penalty
CMRoyal I don't want to see Kebe start, I don't think he's ready yet. I can just imagine the disappointment and dent in his confidence if his fleeting moments so far prove to have - as I suspect - flattered him somewhat. Even Marek, an international with a sure touch, understated intelligence and air of calmness about him, is taking time to settle. How can we expect a stick-thin ex-French-2nd Division player with barely any English to do so any more quickly?

I'd much rather Bobby Convey return on the left, Hunt go on the right, and Kebe be brought on for the final 20-25 minutes (depending on the score, natch).

I agree with that. Only problem is Hunty ain't the best of crossers with his left foot (Boro apart). What's he going to be like with his right?

Hopefully Rosenior's younger legs would provide more overlapping opportunities in this case.

So long as they don't overlap with each other.

By the way - is that a straightforward spelling mistake or an astonishingly erudite turn of phrase in the title of this thread?!

We're a little optimistic I think.

Their last away points were 3 at Old Trafford. If they go there and get something they can at the Mad Stad.

1-1

I want to see Floyd's prediction. For the first time in a long time he predicted us winning a game and it actually happened. I will go with my usual RTG 2-0 prediction. I think back to back clean sheets will do loads for the teams confidence.

I did foolishly state in the 'Boro thread that we'd win everything this month (March), so i'm going for a 3-2 win for Reading

I did try an intellectual nod towards the title in my contribution to this thread, but it seems to have been overlooked  Next time I'll be less subtle.

One of my closest friends in the UK says that most Man City fans would be happy with a draw.
Put bluntly, so would I.

Given our right-sided problem, I've started to wonder what Marek would offer on the right. He's right footed, can combine well in tight spaces and without doubt delivers the best passes of any of our midfielders. This would be easier to try out if Gunnarson was fit, but could Hunt play in the middle to add the tenacity that we lack with harps and Marek in the middle? Not a long term solution I know, but would this give us a better balance/ blend?

Row Z Royal
melksham_royal It will be the same team as Boro and same result too!

What, away win?

My thoughts exactLOLy!

Don't Citeh have some guy named Benjani? I can see a 0-2 Manc win with Benji scoring 2, although I would bet on a 1-1 draw and am hoping for a win. Any kind of win.

Expect the worst, hope for the best. It's that kind of season.
