NHunt doesn't remember Saturday at all

by Skyline » 09 Oct 2008 13:24

From the official site.

I'm not too sure if I'll be able to play against Preston next Saturday but I hope so - I'm just playing it by ear.

Hmm, maybe he should play it by foot next time - less chance of concussion :)

Oh dear. If he doesn't play that leaves Long or Mooney to start - we all know exactly how well Long does when starting.

Mmm, and mooney appears to be a donkey. Put Pearce in at centre-back and stick Bikey up front 8)

Occasionally.

I haven't seen Mooney at all apart from 5 mins v Luton, what i find slightly concerning was 'we watched him a few times and weren't sure' which suggests unlike some previous players, he won't be anywhere near good enough....yet.

I remember over hearing someone say that after having seen doyle in several pre season games, just after he signed, that he was a waste of 78k!

Come the end of the season, I won't remember Saturday's game and I count that as a blessing.

And yet on another thread, apparently Mooney is as good as Doyle was when he started out - which apparently means that Mooney is going to be better than Doyle. Or something.

i would imagine, that after seeing him for a maximum of a couple of games, including the reserves that neither of you are in a position to judge the lads ability or potential.

the boys stats in ireland speak for themselves
as do their superiority to doylers when he was there
other than that, its all just nonsense, innit

If its any consellation to Noel Hunt- I don't remember saturdays game either. I hadn't slept the night before, was drinking from 9am and by the time kick off came around my brain thought it had taken a knock too. At least Noel has only forgotten 1 goal. I was out on the concourse drinking each time and missed all 3.
