our last win with him as ref was northampton  that was over 10 years ago!

He's also sent off 3 Reading players in those 7 games.

Ah, yes, he's the utter dick who sent off Sodje for pulling the shirt of the offside Rooney.

This season: 69 yellow cards and 7 red cards from 18 games

Card happy or what?!!

I would suggest that having a need to issue that many cards per game is the sign of a poor, rather than good, referee.

Still can't fathom the logic of a second yellow/red card for pulling back a player who had already been flagged as offside!

Our only hope is he gets struck by the winter fever bug that's going around and isn't fit enough to turn up on Saturday!

All of which means our players should be on their best behaviour. We seem pretty good at not disputing decisions and showing dissent, but when we struggle in defensive situations our tackles get a bit agricultural. And the Kebe sending off was abit of referee over reaction for a trivial offence. Well, everyone will have to cut out the trivial offences.

This should be part of the tactics, what with us losing 6 man-games through suspensions. And what about unnecessary yellows? Any stattos know which of our players are on 4 yellows or near it?

What's his record for Brum?
He might be even more p*ss-poor for them than he is us! here's hoping!

Didn't he allow Pompeys blatantly offside goal against us last season?

Another tosser in the middle! :x

What is Bikey's position with 3 yellows and 1 red. Does that count as 4 yellows in totting up?

And his previous Brum matches?

Maybe he's a ref who likes sending everyone off...he'll see it as giving either of the teams an early xmas gift.

I think he owes us a win! Behave yourself Saturday Bikey for jumping in the air could see you being sent off...

No. He's already served a suspension for the red which cancels it out. Likewise yellows which lead to a second yellow and a red don't count either.

The FA/PL don't punish people twice. Lets face it half the time they don't punish them once.

Jesus Christ, I actually fear for Saturday now. The 2-1 defeat to Chelsea was one of the most abysmal, one-sided performances from a referee I've seen, it was up there with the previous season's corresponding fixture with Mike Riley. I remember him booking 3 or 4 of our players in the first half alone, yet Chelsea players seemed to get 3 bites at the cherry for similar offences. We battered Chelsea that half, and if Dean had been fair then they wouldn't have ended up with 11 men on the pitch at half time, let alone after 90 minutes. I seem to remember Sidwell and Carvalho finally getting their deserved booking after numerous offences, and Joe Cole in particular had a number of fouls given against him yet he wasn't even booked. Interestingly though, the stats show that he booked more Chelsea players than Reading. This guy is an abysmal referee, and I fully expect him to well and truly oxf*rd us over once again, just like he has done in 3 of the last 4 games he's reffed us.

Totally agreed HH. I have a feeling an important game of football could be ruined by a crap ref. There was a ref they were talking about on MOTD who was letting little fouls go. No arguements from players, and the result was a free flowing game of football.

As for S09, havnt got a clue what she was talking about.
