SHunt - The Definitive Stay/Go Poll

Right, let's cut the crap.

£3m+ bid comes in for SHunt on 1st Jan - do you want him to stay or do you want him to go?

Here's the deal. The money is irrelivant as madejski doesn;t ivnest it in the club, so whatever the fee is, dont expect to see it invested in the team or academy, etc. With that in mind, id rather he stayed.

We've got plenty of cash in hand to strengthen if needed so the money is almost irrelevant. Having seen the massive levels of investment over recent years more of the same would be nice but I don; tthink that depends on Hunt staying or going.

The answer to the question is obviously that a £3 million bid would be rejected though, we know waht price would see him move.

Think I'll Sky+ that and play it half-speed so I can actually understand what he's saying.

Stay. Hold out for the £5m release clause, that's what he's got set, so that's what they'll have to pay. Then buy Surman with the cash and a big striker.

no its not :? If you haven't got cover, why sell a player, even for £3m, especially when that £3m will just be pocketed by the chairman

mainly dos' thats not the debate that we're having here.

reject 3m. too low. why put in a 5m clause if youre going to accpet 3.2m? makes no sense. hold out for 5m but ultimately the only place id like to see him go is back to the prem with us.

Go. Really, let's be brutally honest. He isn't that good. If anything over £3.5M comes in I'd sell him.

Will be surprised if he goes. N Hunt possibly an influence in this. If the fee is met we shall see if he (S Hunt) shows loyalty or greed. With the season we're having and his regular first team play, it's again the age old arguement of huge wage increase and few games or playing all the time.

yeah but its not like we need the money is it? and, if we were to 'get' it, its not like we'd see any of it other than in the increasingly curious contraptions which are applied to the pitch after matches. whats the point in putting in a clause at 5m if we are then going to sell him for 2m less? if they want him that badly make them prove it and put their money down...

Apart from the par-for-the-course air-kick in front of goal, of course.

And not for want of trying. His industrial approach to his game should never be questioned. He shows passion fer christ sakes. We've had a few who don't.
Is it a timing or a skill issue. Probably timing more than any other factor.
