Cardiff Fans View Point

by urzmikep » 26 Dec 2008 18:32

Classic Line from the Cardiff Fans Messageboard "http://www.ccmb.co.uk/fudforum/"
on Duberry at the end and what he supposidly did to cause the Cardiff Fans to get so angry at the end of the game:

showed his arse to the fans and his old boy ( albeit whilst he kept his shorts on!!) the intent was there for all to see. He also stayed on the pitch at the end gesturing to city fans , he insighted the crowd trouble at the end of game!!

LOL - fancy keeping his shorts on whilst showing his bits!!!!

Cardiff fan non BBCRB suggested Duberry was indicating at them with his genitals -the implication was he was indicating that the Cardiff fans were *ankers. As this is clearly true I cannot really see there are any grounds for the club to fine him!!

Cardiff fans are pathetic, spend the whole of the second half giving Duberry abuse and as soon as he gives a bit of banter back they can't control themselves.

If they're allowed to shout the words that they shouted at him and not have anything done about it, then he's within his rights to do any gesticulating that he likes to be honest. It's not like he kung foo kicked anyone (although I'd forgive him for that too). If somebody shouted that at somebody anywhere else other than a football stadium then people would be saying what a disgusting piece of behavour it is. But it's ok when 4000 people all do it at the same time though.

3 Chord Trick:
"Anything Chopra did today was nothing compared to the antics of Hunt, Harper and Duberry who should all be up in front of the FA charged with inciting violence."

Inciting violence?! are they talking a whole lotta rubbish or what? Chopra was the violent one charging into Fedders like that in the first half...he KNEW he wasn't going to get the ball!
Okay, we all know NHunt can get very fired up-it's a surprise to me that he hasn't been sent off yet this season, but Harper? He did nothing of such sort to encourage violence. We may have done something toward the end of the match, but it's nothing no one's seen before. They're sore losers (even tho we drawed) and what's more, they can't beat us and we can't beat them. Their fans are a disgrace, but then again, we weren't much better today. I sure hope we won't be playing them next season!

Calm it all down pleeeeshhh  . No need for the spast1cs word not is there. It's no better or worse than Chelsea and Terry inciting a pitch invasion. As for Reading players inciting violence -The CCFC support clearly cannot hold their lager. As always a minority of troublemakers who will go looking for tyrouble despite the outcome on the pitch. It all harkens back to the inglorious days of real support getting the sh1t kicked out of them. Our own support needs to be careful that they don't tread the fine line of bringing the club into disrepute. The FA cup game could be interesting if things don't calm down.

threw a few things, ran on the pitch when they scored, and again when the final whistle was blown, responding to some fantastic wind up behaviour from doobs and hunt etc

The game next week should be very intresting...4 sending offs, the royals to deny cardiff a win YET AGAIN and a replay at the madstad. Youngsters to start-Cardiff fans are looking forward to seeing doobs, hunt and rosie there next weekend, but won't happen, y'know SSC, FA Cup-Youth team's chance to impress.

This game will be swamped with police and the stewards will probably NOT be as relaxed as the league game. Sadly.

If theres a replay I can't see them being allowed in, can you? Especially if things were thrown.

Put Yourself In Duberrys Shoes...perhaps he was justified - you stand crowns witness against a fellow player accused of a racist assault...

cardiff fans spend the game abusing you and calling you a grass !!

he probably thinks we are a bunch of nazi bnp types

no wonder he lost the plot

some would say some of our fans really do need a boot up the arse and spend more time on getting behind the team rather than slagging off opposing players

its just a theory but one I tend to agree with

This is, however, the minority stance on the Cardiff site...

I remember the fa cup game with leeds

bowyer was abused for not being sent to jail

duberry was abused for trying to send him there and being a "grass"

are some of our fans thick ?

I  (in front of my 10 year old son and 18 year old daughter) did the same thing when we scored.

No doubt unobserved ...but well deserved!

Another entry in the casebook for welsh exclusion from the English Leagues.

Disgraceful, unneccessary and outdated behaviour.............

They have a reputation to uphold, as do Swansea, Welsh sides take pride in being 'boisterous' don't they? I think an away ticket reduction to travelling abusive support should be restricted.

I for one was pleased to see our team not taking abuse from abusive away supporters. Only a little sad that we didn't stick up for them.

why shouldnt cardiff face disciplinary action for their fans behaviour and movement onto the pitch???

a fine is well in order, maybe a points deduction
