I heard it was some place called Reserves. Not sure where it is. Maybe Hampshire?

He's only been here 5 weeks. 3 of those were frozen, so he couldn't get any reserve run-outs. Now he's in the squad and pushing for inclusion.

Well it seems to me like both Tabb and Harding were nothing but squad filler, backups.
Why couldn't we have gone out and signed a proper midfielder like we've needed ever since Sidwell left?

Because-
We're not Real Madrid
We're not Barcelona
We are Reading Football Club
John Madjeski is our owner.

Good on you for writing them both off without seeing them. We've got a lot of cover in midfield, but little on the wings, where Tabb can play as well. Pretty sensible to bring him in IMO. Especially when Hunt could still have gone.

Oh and Midfielders of Sidwell's calibre are in short supply for Championship clubs.

From the article in the post:

"Since the Tooting-born midfielder joined the club, no Reading players have scored."

It's all his fault.

I am going to complain about this post for being too sensible!

Doubt he'll start at the weekend but would love to see him get some time on the pitch at some stage against Forest.

He was starting regularly in this division prior to his move. No reason at all he shouldn't be involved in our first team, unless it turns out (in training) that he isn't good enough.

Having come from Coventry he needs time to adjust to the English game and to learn the language. We'll see him in about 3 months along with Dan Harding.

Isn't there a quarantine period when people come from the Midlands?
