What did people think?
I liked him, seemed genuine to me. I suspect he's too new to management to be playing head games. I think he'll bring a new system and a new era to RFC.

Interview on RW with him, is quite compelling. He is certainly saying all the right things.

haven't heard the PC so obviously can't comment. I have read what he has said beforehand.
I think we are very fortunate to have a manager in place who genuinely wants to be here. He has a love and affinity for the club and town and he will do whatever it takes to be successful. Compare this to the many managers out there that we could have had who would have looked at the opportunity as a stop gap or, worse still, better than nothing.
We have in situ someone who cares. This is not to suggest that SSC and others before didn't care but what young Buck has is the place in his heart.

Oh and welcome to the club Brendan. I do find all these people saying 'welcome home' as if he has been Christ in the wilderness for thirty days and thirty nights a bit rich. But I think he will do a good job here. I just hope he doesn't leave before he gets us back up.

We just can't tell what will happen yet, he is still very raw, but comes with good references, so like mcGhee we are hoping he does well, he may just as likely do badly or average, but we need to give him time and support him, lets hope the changes he makes appear rigth to a large number of the fans, signings in the summer will be the start of that.

Every manager was new to management at some point, it is neither a positive nor a negative.
Must say, much as I'll miss Coppell, I'm looking forward to a manager with a bit more charisma and excitement.
