1st half from T&M

-----------------Anderson--------------
Davies--McDonald--Bikey--Armstrong
Antonio-Bryant-Bozanic-Gylfi-Bignall
-------------------Mooney---------------

1st goal cut back to gylfi good brave finish
2nd goal antonio from corner, bit lucky

Davies not a right back, good going forward
Bikey HOWLER let in their striker trying to dribble past 2
McDonald ok but needs better leadership
Bozanic classy in central mid playmaker role
Antonio quick, bignall quick and strong, both lacked quality

No suprise that Ang MacDonald lacks in leadership given that he's only 16!

I read that as needed better leadership alongside him.

no, he needs those around him to lead him better, they're not. Davis out of position, bikey erratic and Armstrong quiet...

Sigurdsson looks good, box to box and comfortable on the ball.
Bryant seemed to be confused of his role in the midfield but good going forward. Just sprung the offsidetrap but poor finish. He is now definitely the most attacking of the 3 central middielders.

Game very scrappy now, J Taylor on for bignall. McCarthy on for anderson and made a couple of sharp saves already.

McDonald a good prospect imo

MacDonald is definitely the pick of the new crop. England youth international last year.

winchester_royal Kettering are a pretty good side, got to the 4th round of the FA cup last season and nearly beat Fulham at home.

Any win would be a good one at this stage.

I always thought that the performance and getting mileage under the belt more important than the result.

White on for mooney, antonio now striker
Kelly on for Armstrong but playing in front of back 4 with bozanic at left back
Mills on for McDonald

------------McCarthy-------------
Davies--mills---bikey--bozanic
--------------Kelly---------------
---sigurdsson-bryant-Taylor----
---------antonio--White--------

T&M have missed some real sitters!

J Rowe on for Bryant

3-0 o.g from corner.

Bozanic ready for the first team, Kelly needs to get lifting weights! Antonio's pace would be good on the bench if long starts for the first team.

Antonio and davies off for stockinson and Joyce

Right, I'm off, there's a test match on that needs watching!!

GetReading Loan striker Church nipped in front of Poppies’ exotically named centre-back Exodus Geohaghon in the 10th minute to turn in Jimmy Kebe’s cross from four yards out.

Loan? I HOPE they meant lone...

According to a Kettering fan most of our play was 'awesome' so can't have been all bad.

TBF I really don't think we should read too much into this. It's clear we were unlucky in defeat, and 6 changes at H-T throws a team off their rythm, partiuclarly when we are trying to focus on a new brand of football.

The only real worry to come out is the injury to Henry....hopefully it's not serious.

I agree, but being a football supporter is all about little superstitions and leaps of faith that shouldn't be taken seriously.
