"There's nothing you can do that can't be done, nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game, It's easy. There's nothing you can make that can't be made, no one you can save that can't be saved. Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time, It's easy."

The 'Taken aback by Ivar' article of the OS is a real gem - Brendons talking bollox and preening himself again

As read in today's Screws of the World:

"We're on a journey and it's a difficult one at the moment. The supporters are entitled to feel let down. We've got to go back to the drawing board and get some consistency."

"it wasn't like us because at home we've played well and created, this time we were lacklustre".

Not sure I recall anytime this season at home when we created numerous chances and showed lustre

"Bemused" (confused, baffled, all at sea, preoccupied, distracted, deep in thought or bewildered) not the best thing to hear from the person in charge. Imagine hearing that from the pilot on your final descent!!!

YET again his latest interview with BBCRB had his "the fans are great" clause - come off it Brendan, you know we're all getting fed up - I wish you wouldn't keep trying to butter us up - I'd rather see some action on the pitch, rather than your usual rhetoric.

I am fed up hearing Brenda spout shit all of the time. I am also boycotting the OS because it is just like on an online version of Pravda.

I was rather bemused when he said the fans were great at P'boro. Some decent noise first half, silent second half bar the odd person's rant. Until we went behind started singing "2-0 and we oxf*rd it up" and then booed the team at the end.

I'm concerned to discover that he still has a drawing board, even if it's an idomatic one, he really ought to have a world class CAD package.

"We had good control of the game after we scored. We should do better - even at 1-1 we were still in the game - but we have been making mistakes in a lot of our games and we present goals to teams. We are capable of being at the top of the table but we become too vulnerable and we have to become more ruthless."

Quoted by BBC after defeat away by West Brom on 17 October.

Sorry Brendan, we are palpably not "capable of being top of the table". Why even say it, while most of us would be happy with being capable of being mid-table? Few of us ever expected us to go up this season, and none of us at all now.

Tuesday 20 October 2009: Definitely his best interview to date - but for all the wrong reasons. He's basically blaming the players, saying that it's not his fault and that he needs ONE right player. The last words of a drowning man.

He says there: "I can understand the supporters, they are used to success, certainly in the Premier League, and now its a transition which some supporters won't like, some will understand."

Brendan is misunderstanding the crowd's response on Tuesday. I doubt many that went to QPR were premier plastics. They were committed fans. I totally disagree with giving players stick during games, but the ironic chants are actually a sign of buoyancy and a coping strategy for the fans.

My impression is that no fans expected a promotion challenge this season once so many players left. We wanted mid-table consolidation. The reason people are frustrated at the moment is because we are not achieving that: it's not because we are missing the premiership.

As for being "used to success", we had a brief spell of success late last year, but it's largely been two years of failure. We're certainly not used to success since Christmas because we haven't had any. Face it, Brendan: supporters will be on your back till we get out of the relegation zone.
