Couldn't see one anywhere else on the Team board so thought I'd get it under way. Back to 4-4-2 today...

Team

Fed
Tabb
Pearce
Ingi
Bertrand
McAnuff
Cisse

rhroyal Cisse ahead of Karacan?

My thoughts exactly. Probably because Cisse came out saying he may quiet the Club if he doesn't get first team football, think that explains it.

Rather have Karacan in for Cisse but I agree with dropping Kebe and it's an improvement on last week.

Or Rodgers feels that Cisse offers better balance in midfield....

Quite surprised that Sigur is back on the left. His preferred position is CM.

He has scored in his last 2 games from CM.

If we were going to go back to 442, I think Sigur should play in his preferred position, prob instead of Marek and then play Kebe or Kanu on left wing.

Disappointed with Cisse in midfield. He is distinctly average and Karacan is far superior.

But that's the only possible complaint really.

Possibly due to the comments Cisse made earlier in the week. Rodgers appeasing again or tactical :!:

No problem with Cisse coming in, not much between him and Karacan IMO. More disappointed we've kept with the Pearce/Ivar partnership.

Appeasing Cisse is a sackable offence IMO. Frankly I'd rather see him in over Pearce or Ivar than Karacan.

Sig and Church seem to be sharing left sided duty...

Think its more like this with bertrand bombing forward and cisse covering whenever needed.

..........Matejovsky..Siggy..........

McAnuff

........Rasiak...........Church......

from the radio it sound like church and sig are taking turns on filling the left.

don't think we can afford two gnuine wingers in a midfield 4. Makes us too lightweight and easily over-run whilst we're struggling.

We don't have two genuine wingers at the club.

Correct; McAnuff, Henry (on loan), Antonio (on loan), Kebe & HRK. That's five.

Yes, though McAnuff sounds quite useful so far!
