If Madejski's Next Appointment Fails...

by Blue_Elm » 17 Dec 2009 00:15

Should Madejski promise the fans to sell up and place the club on the market. If he doesnt succeed, due to going for the cheap option, how can he expect fans to fork out for season tickets, tickets, merchandise etc.

Will we all be calling for Madejski to sack the board, or to take them with him.

I really honestly see us surviving... then after some poor performances, our fans wanting the Mad Man out... he seems to have lost heart, and if he doesnt want to be the chairman of the club, step aside and let someone who does, do it.

The club is on the market. Has been for several years.

What are you suggesting? He puts it on eBay?

Isn't Madejski "THE BOARD". I thought it was him on his own.

Him and Ian Wood-Smith, though Nigel Howe is also highly influential.

No. I suggest he accepts a realistic market value. In our current position that probably isn't very much at all. What's more, the longer we carry on in the direction that we are heading, the more that value will fall.

Yes lets all spout a lot of guff about something we have no control over and try to get rid of people who are doing their best to prevent us going the way of Watford and Cardiff (Southampton, Leeds, Portsmouth.....).

I'm sure there are many people who would be willing to buy the club and support it's losses, fund multi-million pound player purchases and increase player wages.

Now what's the number of that Arab 'Billionaire' who bought Portsmouth, not the one with no money, the other one.....oh.

No, it is because I can see that Madejski is poorly-advised and clearly panicked.

Whereas you would have advised him to appoint Paul Jewell and convinced him that if we signed Jack Cork we would be champions?
