Super Kevin Bremner! Matt Mills

bottom line is he has only dug his hole deeper by storming off after the game. Best thing for him and us is he apologies, gets reminded we pay his wages and then we all move on. I hope this doesnt escalate as he is our best cb and we need to remain focused to ensure we continue picking up points.

Well viva la LOLz, I think i'd have enjoyed a 5-0 win less than that. I particularly liked the comedy sending off, the late penalty, the finger of Mills.....top, top stuff all round! QPR defended brilliantly, the two headed clearances off the line were absolutely sensational and to be honest I thought QPR were excellent in the circumstances.....which makes our late winner from a stonewall penalty moment-of-madness all the funnier  .

"You don't often come to Reading and out-play them but we did and I have learned a lot about the players tonight.
"You can say that the red card cost us. We defended really well. Damion's first booking is never a booking in a million years. He never took his eye off the ball.
"But the second one was his own fault. What was the goalkeeper going to do other than kick the ball?
"He must have launched 100 kicks tonight so it was silly and he let his mates down."

I was hoping for a game like this. Just the sort of thing to really wind up Colin. Sending off? Penalty? Perfect.

Oh, and we won. Even better.

Thought QPR earned their money tonight. Played very well up until the red card and fought very hard after it. Reading never got going in the first half but were worth the three points for the last 20 - two brilliant clearances off the line and a few chances.

Not every win comes easy and it didn't tonight, but we got there in the end.

Thought we did ever so well to keep pressing against a dogged defence looking for a draw. Always felt we would get a chance in the end and the penalty looked nailed on so don't know why the QPR players protested so much.

Tabb was excellent again and the whole defence did well to keep yet another clean sheet. Thought Siggy looked much better when we went 4-4-2 and Rasiak made a difference when he came on I think. Bertrand was excellent again - he seems to get better each time I see him - Aston Villa excepted. Howard had a good game and Long led the line effectively against a fairly rough and tough defence. Church looked bright when he came on as well.

Thought a draw was probably the fairest result TBH - feel very fortunate that we got all 3 points but we had a very good patch near the end with Kebe causing problems on the left & we eventually got the goal. Thought Tabb, Bertrand & Long did very well tonight. Ref - awful.

Very happy with that though - I thought it was a nailed on draw tonight.

Poor game with a poor ref (even for the fake hoops)

We probably deserved the win but it was hard fought against another physical Warnock "anti football" in your faces type of team who prevented us from playing our normal game.

Game will probably be remembered for Matt Mills, more than anything else. That tells you how much of a rubbish game it was this evening.

Bertrand really set us alight 2nd half. Really impressed with him - he still has a bit to learn defensively but fantastic going forward. Would be briliant if we could keep him next year. Oh yeah - Stewart is a dirty barsteward & the red card was coming.

Enjoyed this game more than the Derby one tbh. We looked to have the run of them for the first ten minutes then they began to hassle us back and assert their strength and height advantage. It wasn't a pretty game, both teams were making mistakes across the entire pitch, but we won ugly with a penalty in the end and that's what counts. After that, I thought we might get another one in, but we had two good tries saved by a QPR bod on the line and several blasted over the bar.

Tabb was my MOTM for hassling in midfield which was what we had to keep doing and he's good at that.
