I would love a nice cheeky away trip seeing as the following day is my birthday.

So, in no particular order:

Millwall, Cardiff, Bristol City, Pompey (just for the AndyRFC pub crawl ).

Would even be happy with Coventry or QPR too.

Bristol City at home please.

Want to get that out of the way before he works his magic on them!

Do the fixture compilers consider seasonal weather conditions. I have never noticed it. Would it not be a good idea to schedule longer trips for early and late in the season when weather is better. I realise that would mean long periods between longer distance matches and shorter gaps between more local games. I have only ever been to 2 cancelled games. Barnet and Watford. Could have been a lot worse.

Having said all that PORTSMOUTH at home please

Mike Hunt I cannot wait till the fixtures are released, so I can see what games that I am going to when I come over in December.

I will be in the motherland from the 9th till the 21st of December.

I am hoping to get to a game on the two Saturday's, and hoping for a mid week game!

Knowing my luck, it will be an international week with no games on one of the weekends. :(

Christmas/New Year provisional Fixture dates shown on OS m8, no internationals, usual league fixtures.

Can someone confirm whether or not this is true.

If we start at home, then our last game of the season will be away?

hope it's away first game, as I'm in Reading for 14 August, the second Saturday of the season (?).

For that matter, if it's Boro away first up, I'll be there too.

NR_Royal Middlesbrough Away.

Would suit me fine. Back in the UK for next season, and will be based in the North East.

I've unearthed this BBC Blog entry from last season explaining how the fixtures are generated. It makes interesting reading (for HSA Geeks) ...
