Sign me up! I am going to check out the website. What does it mean to be a part of STAR? Do you pay yearly membership dues? What are the perks? Anyway, I will go see what I can dig up on the site.

Subsidised coaches to away games.

Well, I just joined (about 10 minutes ago). Seemed like the time to put some genuine support into the club, BEFORE Sunday's match. I've been lurking around the edges of Hobnob for a while and decided it was time to join STAR. Not a sound economic decision, perhaps, but it feels like the right thing to do.

Absolutely correct. As I mentioned, it's not a sound economic decision. Just felt the need to express support for the club any way I can. I'd been thinking about joining STARs Exiles for a while, then with the introduction of the US branch I decided it was time to 'get off the bench'.

I know - I was in Reading a few years back. That's how my interest in the Royals began. My hosts even took me out to the Mad Stad and wandered about the store a bit.

Signed up via FSF site and now looking forward to seeing the lads v Cardiff on Boxing Day having booked flight home for Christmas with family. Will be Ms Ark's first taste of a game at the Madstad. She picked a nice one to start!

there has been a supporter in Ohio for several years who before he went was a season ticket holder and his wife worked for the club, on his rare visit to Reading he did manage to watch a match, and listens to all on the web link, he did get to watch all of our games when we were in the prmiership, good on you Ian & Miki
