Do you still have the Simod Cup bathwater and do you regret not sticking it on ebay now that the Simod Cup winning side are no longer the greatest Reading team in history?

Do you really get odd questions sent to you for your Evening Post column or do you just make them up?

There are must be over 50,000 people now who claim to have witnessed Robin Froday's wonder goal at Elm Park, Each with a different story to tell. As the club historian, What's the official version of events and did you witness it yourself?

- Do you think it is ever possible to justify £3,000 for the definitive guide of everything about a club like The Manchester United Opus?

Did you grow your beard especially for the role of historian?

Can you name the last Reading player to play with a beard and I mean a proper beard not a goatee like Marcus.

The Royals' best-ever XI as voted for by fans last year:

--------------------- Hislop ---------------------
--- Murty -- Hicks -- Williams -- Shorey ---
-- Evans -- Webb -- Parkinson -- Gilkes --
------------ Friday --------- Quinn ------------

Subs: Death, Richardson, Kerr, Wheeler, Senior.

- Do you agree with this and if not what changes would you make to the team?

- David, You published Biscuits & Royals in '84. When are we going to see the 2nd Edition in the Madejski Megastore? Will this be your next project once you publish The History of Reading's Managers?

I think he means like Asaba, Blackman, Cureton, though I don't understand why he doesn't just check on wikipedia.org.

- David, What players of note do you believe are missing from the list on wikipedia.org?

- Hob Nob Anyone or wikipedia as the most useful source of information about what's going on at Reading F.C.?
