The_Cat I may also need to leave early in order to catch the 22:08 to Maidenhead.

Why?

Theres plenty of trains to Maiders.
The next one isn't till 22:38, although i'll probably miss the 22:08 even if I do leave early so I won't leave early.

How frequent do you want the sodding things?

And Cat, if you think you'll miss the train if you do leave early, so won't be leaving early, why did you say you would be leaving early? How's your boat btw.

JSC - I can absolutely GUARANTEE that Riseley will shout at you as you leave! I might even join in!
I thought it was a 19:45 kick off.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Riseley for bidding me a fond farewell on my way out. His best wishes for a safe journey home meant a great deal to me.

I would just like to congratulate myself on the fact that for the first time in years I stayed till the end of the game

Well done RFCMod

I saw a first two people leave the South Stand with 11 minutes to go last night, the second being a kid desperately trying to catch every last second whilst his Dad shouted at him about the traffic. Poor kid.

People leaving early deserve contempt of the deepest kind. This is no more deserved than when one of the deserters is one of the most senior members of the anti-plastic brigade. Early leavers are a cancer on the club I love.

It depends on personal circumstances surely.

I stayed to the end, rather than run for the bus. It then took me 10 mins to get to the bottom of the East Stand. By the time I got to the bus queue it had stretched the length of Berkshire. As I needed a pee I decided to walk back into town . F**k me, that is a loooooong way. Took 45 minutes.

Just missed my train by 2 minutes. Had to wait for another and finally got home 11.45pm when I could have been home an hour earlier. I will be leaving a tad earlier at the Darlington game - so there.

Left as the final whistle blew, brisk walk down the hill onto the second bus. Supping a pint in O'Neill's by 10:25pm, marvellous

I was so disgusted with your attitude that I couldn't bear to see you leave early, so moved to an alternative seat at half time enabling me not see your exit. PLOLastic.

When there was 2 minutes injury time left i walked to the bottom, i never leave early, it just saves the really long wait to get out if i stay in my seat, in this way, i can see the last minutes, clap off the team, then get to my bus in good time

Took me 3 hours to get to the ground (after collecting my son from school) - our fault for living in the midlands i guess.

We stayed to the end and then spent an age getting out of the car park.

Got home at 12:10am and was up again at 5 to get to work.

I may have been bloody knackered, but it was worth every minute.

Marvellous

I was disgusted by the inane grinning shown by Jerry St Clair as he was berated by our Riseley. I should also like to ask what was in his back pack.
