Ta Dirk. I saw the link earlier and will sort out a donation. Do we know how much was actually raised from the match. I presume hiring / appearance fees were waivered.

No idea from the match the but link tells you how much the charity has raised. When I donated it was something like £450k online, £750 off line and £125k in gift aid. Totalled close to £1.4m.

having a looked a bit closer I'm no idea what that figure is for, as the actual H4H website says the charity has raised ~£30m since it was created about 2/3 years ago.

As one of his fiercest critics in other areas, I wouldn't question that he will have made some arrangement to make sure it was at least cost neutral for Help For Heroes. Maybe even covering the hire fee personally?
