Jerry St Clair The assumption that reducing/relocating away fans benefits the home team is an absolute crock of shit.

The only people who are obsessed with the noise of opposition supporters are other football supporters and marketing people in football clubs who encourage this myth.

Leeds have been given 2,100 (i.e. the one half of the South Stand). I assume we're expecting a bigger home crowd for this one, as Leeds would have no trouble at all in selling the full 4,000 for that stand.

Wow, 2100? Really surprised they haven't been given the whole end, and I can't see us getting that much bigger a crowd for it. Will still be around 19-20k.

Thry still have the option to up it, the south stand's still not on sale for home fans. That said, we've sold nearly all of our allocation.

In their defence it's an awful long way to come on a Wednesday night, and very few clubs in this league would be able to muster 1000.

Yes, they're probably letting them sell the first 2k and then see what sort of demand is left.
