blueroyals Watched the Swansea vs Oxford game on the telly, Oxford played sweet caroline after the game and the fans joined in like ours, for that reason alone we should stop it...

The club are obviously stupid because back in 2006 when it actually meant something quite special they didn't really play it. Now they choose to play it 9-10 years later for a group of players who - like you said - it means nothing to.
Also, why do they play it, introduce the teams, get the ball to the halfway line and then play it again. It's like trying to create an atmosphere artificially.

It wouldn't be toooooo bad if the fans actually joined in for it properly. Instead you just get it plod on boringly, before a few thousand people shout "do do do Sweet Caroline" before going silent again.
Sing the whole oxf*rd thing or don't sing at all you 'tards.
