Whatever. If it bothers you that much then don't talk to me.

Blocked now as you are boring me with your negativity. I've had a ST longer then you've been alive probably bell.

Why are you so aggressive over the internet? Would you talk to people like this in person?

I'm not being aggressive and yes I do. I'm just blunt. And don't like people calling me a bullshitter when I'm not.

but you are? Like it's been proven multiple times across the board that you lie and embellish every story. I feel sorry for you

Yeah - 8/10 on saturday, not the best but still a massive improvement. Think they are driven by the away following, which is fair enough. They will come into their own when the likes of Bournemouth, WBA, Fulham etc turn up. Continues to be a great initiative.

Yep agreed. Barnsley came in very small numbers maybe about 300 and were very quiet.

Are Y25/26 linking in with C1871 as hoped?

I'll be going to games again soon after a crap few years with cancer and then recently type one diabetes, and I feel totally out of touch with the club after all this time, but I want that to change. I miss being part of the noise.

Good that you are able to attend. That’s the hope I think. That Club 1871 and the East Stand combine to make more noise. I don’t really notice noise from the East Stand in my position in the ED Stand but the atmosphere is decent these days and much of it is due to Club 1871.

Maybe, but its days like this that Club 1871 comes into its own. In the past, a dull game with small away support = Mad Stad library.
The atmosphere generated does ripple out around the Stadium - even to us snoozing in the ED on Saturday.

Debates require there to be two sides to an arguement.
No one has even tried to put the anti case in anything other than childish terms.
It’s a non debate.

The initiative has worked as far as I’m concerned. I remember just how bad it got in the fag end days of the Stam era.

Definitely. Had it not been for the drummers in the North/East corner then you could have heard a pin drop!

I did think the scenes after the goal when a sizeable group surged towards the away fans and three or four tried to jump on the netting were quite embarrassing. I think the “positivity” aspect of the original initiative has slowly drained away. But clearly lots of people find it to be good fun and the negatives aren’t so bad that they represent a reputational risk or anything like that.
