New changes for the new campaign
From the start of the 2025/26 season, a new operator will take over the management of the car park next to Reading Football Club.
The car park has previously been leased to the club for use by supporters on matchdays and Park & Ride users. With that lease now expired, a new arrangement is being introduced to ensure smooth and uninterrupted parking operations going forward.
What supporters need to know:
Matchday parking will remain available at the same location.
Prices for on-site parking will not increase as part of this change.
Please note: Prices have increased for Car Park 6 (off-site). This change applies only to that off-site location.
No disruption is expected for supporters attending games this season.
As part of planned future improvements, registration plates will now be logged at the time of purchase. This is to prepare for the introduction of ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology later in the season, and will also help with general car park security.
While we do not yet have a confirmed date for the installation of the ANPR system, in the meantime, parking tickets will continue to be issued match by match, using our usual delivery methods:
Google Wallet
Apple Wallet
Print at Home
Paper tickets
Season Parking Permit Holders
If you’ve purchased a seasonal parking permit, please contact the Ticket Office with your vehicle registration number:
Email: sales@readingfc.co.uk
Call: 0118 968 1313
Permits will only be posted once your registration details have been received.
All permits will be sent in advance of our first home league match on Saturday 9th August, and will remain valid until the ANPR system is introduced later in the season.
Further updates will be shared before the start of the new campaign.
