Royal Lady Well, I'm going to get Schards to check his bank account every hour - IF we didn't get our tickets, I'll be asking to sit with SJM in the director's box to make up for our loss.

It's not the director's box (or even the directors' box, unless it's a very small one  ) - it's the Royal Box.

And I think you'll find that the seats there have already been allocated. 8)

Given the doubts, I would ring to be safe, BUT for your reassurance - when we got our tickets through customer services he gave me quite a bit of extra info (like the dispatch & delivery days above).

Like - If you got the confirmation email, you should be OK - still some doubt about the double allocation problem, I guess. But it sounds like they've already run a check, because of all the problems fed-back via the club.

Apparently the process of printing out the slips for dispatch involves a further duplication check - it works both ways, some errors may involve the same ID getting their tickets twice for example - that was the reason we originally rang - the system said we already had tickets, but we hadn't had any confirmation of the buying transaction when it crashed. He said ... they didn't START printing out the dispatch slips until today.

RL, we're all friends here - no-one's going to hold it against you or judge you if there were insufficient funds in your account.

We understand that a job as a tea-maker can't pay very much, and with teh ever-incresing number of grandchildren you need to support it's quite understandable.....

Red I'm normally the first to complain about this kind of thing but in the interests of balance can I say I thought ticketzone were ok.

Yes it took me 2 hours to get through, and yes I was on hold for half an hour on my mobile to an 0844 number, and yes I was also trying to get through on the internet at the same time and it kept crashing - but selling 40k high demand tickets in a few days is always going to have problems like this. What do people expect really?

Echo Glens post above too - once through they were really helpful.

I don't think that is acceptable. You often read about say Take That or Robbie Williams selling out in hours not days. They were just not good enough to handle the volumes.

Thank you Glenroyal. I just would have thought if they've taken money for you which you ordered at the weekend, our money would have already been taken, as we ordered Thursday first thing.

That was my point RL - they said they wouldn't do that until they ran the dispatch slips and the final duplication check - today. Our money hasn't been taken yet either.

As strained as the TicketZone systems were, I must also add my praise to the professionalism of the staff one I (eventually) got through. Took a while to process my requests but she did it without a hitch.

Everybody ignore RL by the way - she's got a history of making out her lot is the worst lot in the entire world when in fact she's no worse off than anyone else.

Money will go out this week, tickets will arrive this week, everyone just chill the pfuck out.

So what? It hasn't gone from mine either. They don't all happen simultaneously across the country FFS.

Apologies if already mentioned but Reading's allocation now bigger than Swansea's - have been given extra 400 tickets. 39396 or something...

Hi Maguire, several have already said, the people at TZ were professional and helpful - when you got to a human, me included. Agreed

But as JC says above their on-line system couldn't handle the demand - quite light actually by modern event standards - without crashing and creating significant ticketing errors (as well as obvious buyer time-wasting frustration). A poor system.

They'll almost certainly do the financial transactions in overnight batches - whether they do them all in one go, or whether they do it by bank/block number/customer's name is anyone's guess.

I'd not worry at this stage - except for the entertainment value of seeing RL work herself up into a frazzle!

Simples! I would expect Wembley's recommended ticketing partner to have the systems in place to enable them to cope with the extremely high level of demand on the first day(s), which is always generated by events at Wembley!

I would not expect them to have a system that is considerably less efficient than RFC/Talentarena's.
