Schards#2 Second in the table, Saturday 3.00pm, not on TV, special offer on tickets, opposition in play off zone, not in the summer holidays, not in the run up to Christmas.
Not even worth opening half of one stand.
The evidence in favour of an expansion is becoming overwhelming.

As soon as there's something worth watching, I'm sure the stadium will be packed.

Be sure to let me know when that's likely to happen.

There's no evidence against it so far though.

Try clicking "Fixtures & Results" from the menu on the left. Then look at the column headed "ATT"

Royal Lady I thought the point he was making was that crowds are down on our last Championship promotion fight?

Recession has one hell of an effect tho, some folk cannot afford the tickets now, is it that hard to see. I thi nk we all agree that if we did increase to 30 k after promotion that we would get full houses on at least a few matches in The Prem, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Tottenham and quite possibly Man C, West Ham and Newcastle.
All would mean a larger income to the club.

RG30 According to yesterday's paper we got 19,570 with our average attendance this season 19,518 (source: News of the World). So this attendance crisis that's suggested really isn't too bad when you take into account we still have higher gates than the likes of Birmingham and Cardiff.
With decent crowds still to be expected against the likes of Bristol City, Sheff Utd and Birmingham I'll make the prediction our average gate for the season will surpass 20,000 which would be a remarkable achievement for a club of our size and history to achieve in the second tier of English football.

Hardly a case for expanding the stadium though. Which is what this thread is about rather than whether the gates are above or below expectation.
