Managed to wangle the night off of work for this, but had to convince the boss it was because it was half term and the wife could only get 4 of the 5 days off, awkward bastard!

Can't wait though, even though it's just the league cup, it's still Reading at Anfield. 8)

Bringing a Liverpool fan with me from work too. A Liverpool fan that's never been to see Liverpool but it's another bum on seat.

For whatever reason he has never been to see Liverpool. He's only 18 mind, and can't drive.

Better than sitting on his bill.

Official Website Please note we also have a small number of restricted view seats which will only be sold if the main allocation sells out. These are restricted view seats due to limited movement at the front of the stand and are priced at £19 for adults, £9 for under 16s and £14 for over 65s.

We also have a small number of severely restricted view seats which will only be sold if the main allocation sells out. These are severely restricted seats view due to overhang of the upper tier roof and are priced at £17 for adults, £7 for under 16s and £12 for over 65s.

Applaudable to give a discount (as opposed to QPR) for a restricted view but only a £3 discount for a "severely" restricted view seems a bit tight when I guess you can only see half of the pitch at best!

Whilst Reading impose restrictions on ticket sales
And Liverpool currently restrict us to 2000

I cannot see this game filling the whole of Anfield....despite our historic moment and The revs only pathway to Europe next season.

Can we not pay at the gate?

Having turned up to buy tickets for a "non lock out game" yesterday (Friday the 6th)

I have been (politely) informed that I cannot support my team for this game until the 17th of October whence I can buy my ticket.

ummmmm

why bother

I didn't sign up for automatic Home Cup Tickets but I did sign up to the Away Season Ticket. As a result I had to book my Reading v Darlington ticket online and my online order history already shows that I will be receiving Liverpool v Reading Carling Cup tickets.

In this instance I have decided that myself and son will go to the Liverpool v Reading Carling Cup match but considering we might easily have drawn Darlington away for a midweek game on a school night I think I would prefer to be in your position even though it is a case of the sales centre being wrong.
