Premiership Hoops

OK - one major gripe I want to get off my chest early ...

Can we please have a proper blue-hooped strip next season !!!!
(without the white back and sides)

Next seasons shirt will be all hoops apparently. I think STAR mentioned it a few months ago when I put it to them.

Great to hear such things are settled that far in advance - guess they must have had plenty of feedback.

OK, so I'd like to push my luck and escalate my demands ...

Can our second (and third) strips also be contrasting hoops - please. Thinking of the infamous red/yellow combo ...

If we retain Waitrose as the shirt sponsor, I am assuming it will be for vastly more money now? (The second strip hoops could always be shades of green  ).

Green / Grey
Green / Orange
Green / Black

would all work

Orange and Black would be lovely.

Or we could be sponsored by a well known chocolate company and have Green and Black.

It's got to be hoops though. And no white panel on the back - QPR have shown that it is not necessary.

If this is true GTFI, please can there be red numbers and letters too? This year's kit would have been perfect had the hoops gone around

If this is true it's brilliant! I'm hoping we get...

White shorts
Hooped socks
A red and black hooped away kit

Not sure Cadburys would want to sponsor us tbh.

I heard that fans who want hoops and no back panel will be "happier" this summer, but what that means we will just have to wait and see.

Interestingly, Alan Green commented on the shirts last night during the commentary. He was very complimentary and made a strong hint that 'all other clubs with hoops or stripes should copy the back panel design so that player numbers are easier to read and identify'

That's because, bar Roberts, he didn't know any of them without reference to the backs of the shirts. Nxt year they will all be famous!

Alan Green

Hopefully we'll have a more traditional kit (hoops all round) when we return to the premiership!

Hoops all the way round would be good along with white shorts and socks. Away kit? Wouldn't mind a tribute to the Simod Cup Final kit - 25 years next season isn't it?
