windermere_royal If this is true the SJM really will have to hang his head in shame, how can a supposed highly successful business man who has made millions get taken by a Russian conman?

Reading continue to say they are comfortable with how Anton Zingarevich's takeover is progressing amid speculation he is looking to sell his 51 per cent share.
The Russian, through his Thames Sport Investment (TSI) company, was due to complete the purchase of the club from Sir John Madejski by the end of last month.
He missed the deadline to buy the remaining 49 per cent, however, sparking fears he was struggling to put together the necessary funds, thought to be in the region of £25 million.
Reading have insisted, however, that there is no cause for concern and that Zingarevich and Madejski are both 'comfortable' with the situation.
That continues to be the line, despite speculation that Zingarevich is in talks with a Middle Eastern consortium about selling his share.
The Russian is currently abroad following the birth of his first child and has not been to a game since the friendly with Oman on September 7.

Ian Royal Lol. There is literally nothing to those stories, except the paranoid witterings of doommongerists.
None of those articles provide anything even as concrete as "Sources tell us". Which we all know is short-hand for "we're making it up". It might as well read "some 'tards are saying..."

Where club goes from here is anyones guess, and surely the uncertainty will relay itself to the management and players

But we know for certain that he's not paid for outstanding 49% yet, so technically he does only own 51% so far. Whether he's looking to offload his 51% plus his liability to purchase the remainder, or just the 51% he owns so far, isn't known for sure.
