Does anyone have another spare terracing ticket? Looks like I was too slow for MouldyRoyals :( PM me if you do. I may resort to sexual favours for one?!

reading_fan What's the parking like around the ground? Street parking? Car parks?

To be honest you are best parking near where the halfmoon is situated yes it is a five mintue walk to the ground but it is free and you won't have many problems getting away after the game as you would if you parked nearer the ground, What time is everyone looking at getting down here to sunny sussex

Planning to set off around 11:30 to get there for 13:30. Bite to eat and in the ground early for a decent spot.

£3 parking at the stadium, and street parking. Perfect.

Beats rip-off Reading and their extortionate parking!

Er mate did you attend when we were league 1 or 2? Our parking only went up when we started going up really.

League 2? When did the Madejski Stadium entertain L2?

Was still around a fiver or move in L1 IIRC. Can remember paying £8 in the Championship several years ago too.

Holiday Inn used to be free, then went to £3, Compaq was slightly more if I remember correctly. But those were also the days you could park in the shell garage/on the verges

Any person that pays to park at holiday inn etc for 8 quid or whatever it is , is an idiot. there is plenty of free parking just minutes away. i have never paid a penny to park for a football match.

Parking on the streets in close proximity to the ground was no problem.

Did the same in the estate on the opposite side of the 'football' roundabout. It was like being in Bracknell! Guess Crawley was developed at the same time.

Certainly was - in the 70s there used to be various sporting competitions held between the New Towns, and being brung up in Bracknell I got to go to the likes of Crawley, Hitchin, Hatfield, Stevenage, Basildon .... they're all contemporary and virtually identical in design.
