Sutekh My first ST back in the early 80s cost about 40 quid and you got a free league cup game thrown in. Compared to the crap we've had at home this year I think I'd prefer the football I was getting in the early 80s...

go back there then

ah the good of days of the early 1980s where we played quality football

1982 /83 season, despite having the top goalscorer in Division 3( Kerry Dixon), we lost our relegation battle with the mighty Exeter and Orient

The following season was much better in Div 4 though, top goalscorer (Trevor Senior) and promotion, 3rd place behind York and Doncaster

Much better than fighting out for a place in the top division

riverroyal Club obviously decided to put the season tickets on sale as they must believe we are now not going up . . .

If there was any chance we could have gone up they would have waited and charged Premier League prices

UpThePrem Only 1 year. It was increased by £25 last year on most tickets.

Did adult prices really go up £25 when we were relegated last season? I don't recall that happening.

No, although you could get an early bird renewal for 12/13 for 25 quid off, standard renewals were £375, same as this year and next

crowds of under 2000 for some games back then suggest you'd be in a minority.

Great value once again. You can't argue with £375 for an adult and only £99 for kids. We were considering not renewing next season and picking our games, but realistically at those prices, we would only spend that and more on the games we do go to, so we'll be renewing shortly. Roll on the summer changes and a new era, however difficult it may prove initially.

Assuming we don't go up it works out at £16.3 per game for adults and £4.3 per game for kids not to shabby plus I get to 'bring a friend' if I can persuade anyone to come :)

Said I'd renew if mine was under £250 again so £230 again is fine and I will renew, probably in late May when I've forgotten why I was hating this season.

Yes. Early Bird prices were cheaper for Premier League Season tickets than this current year although if I remember correctly they released them really early when it didn't look like we had a chance of promotion. I expect they would have been more had they realised we would get promotion.

I've never moved ST seat before, so can someone help me...

Do I just wait for movers week and then pop down to see what's available?
The ST I have will be safe until after this and they go on general sale, or is it different?

We were advised last year to renew what we already had, and then be one of the first callers when it goes to movers week or general sale, and then snap up the seats you're after.

If you take a look now at RFC Direct and look at the seats available for the last home game, you'll get an idea of what seats are available to move to before any more may become available with those that don't renew. It might be the case that you spot what you want now and then just need to wait to nab it when you're allowed to.
