Mere Oak Park and Ride

Work on the Mere Oak park and ride, just south of Junction 11, is due to start shortly and the new facility should be operational in the Spring. It will eventually replace the MadStad park and ride. Does anyone know if the new park and ride will serve the MadStad on matchdays?

Problem with park and ride is the buses getting back to the stadium having gone back to the car park after the game. This in part creates the early leavers situation so that people can get on the first buses.
