Norwich Away

by handbags_harris » 04 Nov 2014 12:38

Looked at this the today, sadly we're a Grade A fixture which means adult tickets look to be £35. Cue usual response re East Anglian clubs - at least Dick Turpin wore a mask. 300 - 400 at most I would imagine will travel up at that price!

Not advertised on our OS yet but they've just opened up to home fans.

Crazy really.

Oh well I'm heading up there anyway. £35 is ridiculous money to watch us lose 3 or 4 nil but already planned a night up there.

BTW, I'm basing the price on being situated in the corner of the Jarrold Stand which I assume is still the away section. It appears to be available for sale on the NCFC website although the two blocks are the only blocks with good availability which I take to assume no tickets have been sold.

The seats next to you for home fans are a lot cheaper as they are behind the goal, they also have the member card price scam. Bastards.

Not only that but you can't see the corner on the left without standing up, and then having our vocal OAP support telling you to sit down.

Out.

Not according to their website they're not. Non member price appears to be £35 also, both upper and lower tier.

Sit at the back then.

this really is a rip off for championship games.

The sooner clubs can charge the same for away fans that was charged in the reversed fixture the better, then clubs may look out for what away fans are being charged too. No way will Norwich fans be charged £35 for when they come to Reading

£35 is absolute bonkers. I don't understand why we are a category A fixture for them.

For that reason I think I am out.

I thought those clubs with categories used Grade A as games where either local derby, club with large away following or history of trouble between two clubs that requires extra resources. We are in none of these categories.

In the current division I guess only Ipswich, Leeds, Sheff Wed and maybe Birmngham slot into this category for Norwich.

£35 if we're charged that is madness.

Reading are always a category A game for Norwich as they need the extra cash to bribe the referee, as they appear to do every time we go up there.

6th minute of 3 mins injury time

Gutted about this as haven't missed Reading play at Carrer Rud for 30 years. Instead, will be at a wedding.
