UpThePrem Don't believe everything Semtex says. Block 120 was sold to normal STH's not hospitality. I have nine in there as do many others I know.

Nope

120 & 121 was held back.....and then sold on after they have spoken to all those who pay for hospitality.

I got mine in there at 10:10 this morning.

All the hospitality members were called last week asking what tickets they would like. Once they knew they put the remainder on sale to STH

But carry on......

2 tickets in Blue 112 for me and the old man, seems there'll be a few of us there! first one to get w*nkered and projectile vom over a steward wins.

Or squirt him with ketchup if you're a Bradford fan..

Fair play - why would you queue up with a load of spackerdomers just to get a London Irish ticket?

Having said that - wasn't me - can't stand London Irish.

Sorted online at 11am.
Couldn't get block 120 which has been highlighted in other posts as being not available, which wasn't that clear when ordering online, so got another and don't really care as long as I am there.
It was easy to do plus no queuing. Recommend this method for other STHs.

Stranded I'm just hoping the Ryanair flights don't go up too much between now and Friday. Can currently get back for €38 return, which is very nice indeed.

Why not book today then?

Good point in general about booking travel arrangements early tbh, prices only ever seem to go one way.

For anyone travelling as part of a group by rail don't forget to look at getting a 'Group Save' ticket to get a third off the price. Book these early as I'm sure the offer has been suspended in the past when FGW pick up on certain market trends (e.g. Loads of people from Reading trying to book them for our last visit to Wembley).

In x 2 for Blue 111

Rang the TO this morning, in the queue for over 20 mins and ended up with the answerphone and then got cut off!

Went to the Ground just before noon and it was rammed so went back to my car rang the ticket office and got through after three attempts ( admittedly got cut off twice ) but eventually got my tickets in 110.

All in all 20mins

Why bother queuing?

loyalroyaldaz In the ticket office or online uptheprem?

I did hear that all the academy players have been given 2 plus all the ball boys and girls.

What do the academy players want with the ball boys and girls, or shouldn't I ask.

5 x 118.

3 hours online. It died first time round. Over 2 hours in, I'd entered all card details and it hung for 30 mins before refreshing back to the start. At least 2nd attempt was fast. As long as only charged the once.

Just need to get one more on Thursday now so same fun again.

RoyalBlue Does anyone know whether the website queue page does automatically update every 15 seconds as it claims?

It does, stick with it.

It did, and it did!

Wow what a significant improvement in the system from the last time around (playoff final). Sit down everyone, praise for the off the field side of the club from RB!

The way you can now effectively queue on the internet, rather than having to keep refreshing or losing your connection or just being locked out right at the outset, plus the smooth way it all operated when in (including me changing my mind about the best block part way through), without crashing, really did make the process relatively quick and painless.

Only small snag was that they had my daughter's ticket down as 18-21 even though we paid for an adult season ticket this year!

Well the website did say something about the ticket office having the 'best seats' - so maybe the split was lower half TO - upper half online/phone.

It didn't say that at all. All it said was the blocks were being spilt into two, half for personal callers and half for online/phone transactions. The only benefit of going to the ticket office is, you get a better idea where you are sitting - but you cannot pick your seat, you're given the tickets which are next in order of the block you choose.

It said:
'If you buy in person, you will be allocated what we believe are the best rows. It is not possible to pick a specific seat or row, just a specific block. Online you can only pick a specific block.'

Looks like its been overwritten now by the latest update but it was definitely there.

Somewhere earlier in this thread I have copied and pasted the exact words and UpThePrem is correct.

Royal Lady Block 525 on line. But still need 2 more.

I couldn't smile in that pic btw, my false teeth would fall out.

How can the owners have nabbed 3 blocks worth of tickets? And how many tickets would that equal. Can see some people moaning that they couldn't get a ticket because they were bought up by the owners.

Royal 212 said someone had helped him out - I'm still wondering who it was though - think he's on a wind-up about that tbh.

102,103 and 120-122 account for about 5,000 seats or about £300,000! Seems a heck of a lot for the owners to reserve. I assume they would have to pay for them initially although some of that would come back.

How many players do we have at the club? - each player is given 10 tickets
How many coaches do we have at the club? - each coach is given 10 tickets
How many members of staff do we have at the club? - each members of staff is given 10 tickets
How many directors/shareholders/owners do we have at the club? - each directors/shareholders/owners is given 10 tickets

It soon adds up

All members of staff are 'given' ten tickets?! That is an awful lot of money given away at a time when we are supposedly so hard up. By all means be given one and perhaps the option to buy some in addition, but 10 free?

Had to laugh at the old boy on South Today who was first out of the ticket office with his tickets - he queued since stupid o'clock this morning (about 5ish) and got given seats in row 2 of block 103.

Meanwhile those who went on line got tickets in that block and 104, higher up.
